Wladimir Klitschko, moving in the shadows of his older brother Vitali Klitscho for most of their boxing career, tries to establish himself as the premiere Heavyweight of our generation by entering the ring with Ruslan Chagaev, a game challenge, and not a far throw from original challenger David Haye who backed out a month ago with a back injury. The fight will be held in Germany, amidst 60,000 fans, and will be the biggest fight there since Schmeling boxed Adolf Heuser in the 1930’s.

The deserving heir to Felix Trinidad’s following, Puerto Rico’s Miguel Cotto tries to bounce back from a devastating first KO of his career (courtesy of Antonio Margarito, who now faces a 1 year ban from boxing) two fights ago by proving himself the King of the Welterweight Division against another champion in the person of Joshua Clottey. The fight will be held at Madison Square Garden, right now an annual event for the Puerto Rican superstar in the same venue. Meanwhile, swift Ivan Calderon (32-0, 6 KOs) defends his belt against Filipino Rodel Mayol (25-3, 19 KOs) in a battle of the little men.

With Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s return, a lot of boxing analyst are saying that he might relinquish his throne as the pound-for-pound king after he beats Juan Manuel Marquez, a title currently held by Manny Pacquiao. With a fight between these two world-class fighters looming at the end of the year, some would like to wait until that fight to make their decision in choosing. That’s just wrong, in my opinion, and Manny Pacquiao is my P4P king, even if he loses to the naturally bigger Mayweather in December.

Chad Dawson vs Antonio Tarver Watch Free Live Streaming Video Online Rematch II 2 Winner Results Highlights Updates

I actually caught the first match of the Antonio Tarver vs Chad Dawson, and it was a real boring fight, with Tarver stalking Dawson all around the ring and Dawson sometimes letting go of 4 to 5 punch combinations with Tarver blocking most. But Tarver is known as the comeback kid, and this rematch might be an interesting one. Watch the first 3 rounds at least.

In preparation for the Hatton vs Pacquiao fight on Saturday, HBO rolled out another 24/7 feature comprising of 4 equally nice episodes that they air on Saturdays prior to the big night. The last one, episode 4, will be aired before the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight, and we will get to that later. Personally, I think this is a great marketing scheme and opens the eyes and ears of viewers to the upcoming fight. Since its an all-access feature, seomthing which was not available to the public for fights such as this, people and boxing fanatics are able to give their own informed opinion of the fight, and not just rely on boxing experts. I have compiled all the episodes on streaming video, mostly coming from Youtube and the HBO account there. Enjoy watching.
