More than Filipino pride, I’m basing my prediction on Manny’s ring record, his punching power, speed, and the stamina he has shown in previous outings against Barrera and Marquez. David Diaz on the other hand is a very hardy fighter, never backs down, a natural lightweight, and has some tricks of his own. I saw him fight and he was much more of a brawler than a real boxer. Thus I don’t think the judges will consider him a winner when the result of the fight becomes a slugfest. Manny Pacquiao will pick him apart with lightning speed punches and that trademark right-hand jab and then sliding to the right.
The Las Vegas odds are currently in Pacquiao’s favor, with the win ratio at 4 is to 1. That means Vegas is 80% sure Pacquiao is gonna win this fight on June 28. I think they should have upped it to a 100.
