With Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s return, a lot of boxing analyst are saying that he might relinquish his throne as the pound-for-pound king after he beats Juan Manuel Marquez, a title currently held by Manny Pacquiao. With a fight between these two world-class fighters looming at the end of the year, some would like to wait until that fight to make their decision in choosing. That’s just wrong, in my opinion, and Manny Pacquiao is my P4P king, even if he loses to the naturally bigger Mayweather in December.

I actually caught the first match of the Antonio Tarver vs Chad Dawson, and it was a real boring fight, with Tarver stalking Dawson all around the ring and Dawson sometimes letting go of 4 to 5 punch combinations with Tarver blocking most. But Tarver is known as the comeback kid, and this rematch might be an interesting one. Watch the first 3 rounds at least.

In preparation for the Hatton vs Pacquiao fight on Saturday, HBO rolled out another 24/7 feature comprising of 4 equally nice episodes that they air on Saturdays prior to the big night. The last one, episode 4, will be aired before the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight, and we will get to that later. Personally, I think this is a great marketing scheme and opens the eyes and ears of viewers to the upcoming fight. Since its an all-access feature, seomthing which was not available to the public for fights such as this, people and boxing fanatics are able to give their own informed opinion of the fight, and not just rely on boxing experts. I have compiled all the episodes on streaming video, mostly coming from Youtube and the HBO account there. Enjoy watching.
