Fight Synopsis:
With his first clash with Erik Morales being an unsuccessful bout, Pacquaio bounced back in his next fight. The duel held on September 10, 2005 at Staples Center, Los Angeles, California, United States, had Hector Velasquez as Manny’s latest challenger. Pacman made a dramatic comeback in this explosive ring match to stand up where he had fallen.
Velasquez, held his own in the first round.
He proved his strength as Pacquiao moved in the fight with a turtle pace. Hector did not last for long anyways. Because after the 2nd round, he was clearly being devastated by Manny. Velasquez never recovered after Pacman had outpointed him. This clash met its end when Velasquez went down just as the bell sounded the end of the 6th round. Referee Lou Moret counted up to eight before declaring the fight TKO. Haye does talk a lot of shit, but he still one of my favorite fighters the dudes a beast in ring and he speaks his mind he doesn’t hold shit back. And hes doing the right thing by going after Klitschko if you want to be the best you have to beat the best hope he wins and if he loses doesn’t make him any less of a fighter where talking about one of the worlds best heavy weights it will be a learning experience I think he can win.
