Before, I thought Gerry Penalosa or Boom-Boom Bautista will be on the undercard of The Dream Match, but now I cannot seem to verify whether Penalosa is indeed fighting. I only got to see two other bouts for the fight on Saturday evening. Fight list after the jump.

Complete List of the Dream Match fights on HBO PPV December 6, 2008

  • 12 rounds,welterweights: Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) vs. Oscar De La Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs)
  • 12 rounds, light welterweights: Victor Ortiz (22-1-1, 17 KOs) vs. Jeffrey Resto (22-2, 13 KOs);
  • 12 rounds, junior featherweights: Juan Manuel Lopez (23-0, 21 KOs) vs. Sergio Manuel Medina (33-1, 18 KOs).

Those other two are championship fights as well and Ortiz is being hyped-up as the next big thing in boxing. Juanma Lopez is also a perennial champion and his fight against Sergio Medina will certainly be explosive. Watch all fights on PPV.
