The toughest fight of Manny Pacquiao’s career happens this Saturday evening, 9 PM ET, at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada when he goes up against WBA Welterweight Title Holder and Puerto Rican boxing superstar Miguel Cotto. Miguel Cotto’s belt will be at stake such that if Pacquiao wins, he will break the record for most number of belt titles (7) in different weight classes. The fight will be shown live on Cable and Streaming Video for PPV purchasing viewers, and will also be available in the Philippines as live broadcasts to SM Cinemas, sports bars, and other public viewing places sponsored by Manny’s supporters. If you are an avid fan of Manny, there is no reason for you to miss the live fight.

The Cotto vs Pacquiao latest news says that Pacquiao is having no trouble with the weight limit while Cotto, a natural welterweight, is coming in from the high 140s, thus it is possible he will be too dehydrated come fight night. These weight issues along with fighting techniques, coaching, and distractions are the main themes of discussions leading up to the fight.

How To Watch the Live Fight Video
There are several ways on how to catch the Cotto-Pacquiao fight without having to go to Las Vegas and purchasing a ticket. These ways are listed below:

1. Go to Yahoo Sports!, Setanta Sports and other major sports networks around the globe to see if they are carrying the fight live on streaming video.
2. Contact your cable provider to get the Pay-Per-View Access direct to your TV. If you have a lot of friends interested in watching also, you can just chip in and the cost per person will be lessened.
3. Flock the nearest sports bar or restaurant offering the bout live. Order some thing from the menu and get to watch for free.
4. Buy the movie tickets from your nearest SM Mall Branch. Most will carry the live broadcast direct from Las Vegas. You’ll get to cheer along with a hundred or so movie-goers.
5. Go to video streaming websites like justin.tv or ustream.tv. Some users will try to post the fight live here. You;ll be lucky at times but most of the time, the stream will get taken down and it will leave you disappointed. Another disappointing factor is the quality of the video.

My Analysis
Being a Pacquiao supporter, my analysis will be heavily biased towards Manny. The Pacman is faster and quicker than Cotto, and one can argue that both fighters have the same knockout power in their fists. It’s a well accepted fact that Cotto is the heavier body puncher and he might use this against Pacquiao, but the bigger question is will he be able to catch Pacquiao’s body flush? Out of the two, Manny has more ring savvy and has never been in danger from his fights for the last 4 years, while Antonio Margarito demolished Cotto just about a year ago. And then there’s the 145 lbs limit, which is 2 lbs lighter than what Miguel’s is used to.

My Predictions
My take is that Manny leads Cotto in all aspects of their match, except probably for power. Pacqiauo is a faster, more intelligent boxer and is very-well coach by Freddie Roach. I’ll give Pacquiao a KO win after 6-7 rounds.
