The 38-year old “Sugar” Shane Mosley tests the darkest waters on Saturday, January 24, 2008 when he climbs the ring with “The Tijuana Tornado” Antonio Margarito who currently holds the WBA Welterweight Belt. The fight will be held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles and will be broadcasted live on Free TV by HBO. So if you’re still looking for the free streaming video of this fight from the Internet, I would like to ask you to reconsider and just turn on your television for the HBO coverage. Anyway, you probably wouldn’t see any of Shane Mosley punches.
Although you might want to stick around because I’ll be posting the links and the video feed to the Mosley-Margarito fight here as always. Subscribe to my feed to get that update.
I watched the last fights of both fighters and this is why I came to the conclusion that Margarito will win this bout with a solid Knockout. Without disrespect to Sugar Shane, I think he is already past his prime and looked really slow during his battle with Ricardo Mayorga. On the other hand, Margarito absorbed all power punches from my Ring Idol Miguel Cotto and looked unfazed allthroughout. He kept coming forward, imposing his will on the sleek and heavy punching Cotto and got away with a well-deserved KO in the 11th Round. Shane Mosley may be fast but I don’t think he is any faster than Cotto at this point, and if you think Cotto looked good and fleet in the earlier rounds, you might wonder how long Mosley can keep up that same pace.
What are the undercards (card list) for the Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito Fight?
Robert Guerrero(22-1, 15 KOs) vs Edel Ruiz (31-21, 22 KOs), 10 rounds
Saul Roman vs. Jose Varela, 10 rounds, junior middleweights
Matt Korobov vs. Roberto Florentino, four rounds, super middleweights
While we are all waiting for the fight, here are some tribute videos and career highlights for both fighters from Youtube. Also some replay of their previous fights.
Margarito vs Cotto Highlights (HBO)
Mosley vs Mayorga Highlights (HBO)
The odds heavily favor Antonio Margarito and many boxing analysts have the same prediction as I do. If ever you don’t get to see this fight live, consider watching the replay. Stick around for the results, winner and highlights of the fight.

Did anyone see the riots anfter the finals last Thursday? What kind of fans celebrate by destroying their own city? Laker fanboys are a bunch of criminals. According to AP, thirty eight people were arrested for “public intoxication, vandalism or inciting a riot.” Probably doesn’t help to have criminals on the team. Kobe seems to have escaped that rape charge in Colorado just fine. In any case, the NBA is starting to seem kinda fixed. The LA Lakers always seem to get more than their share. No wonder Lebron is irritated. Wonder if it’s because of Hollywood.

Los Angeles Laker are a bunch of criminals. Did anyone see the riots anfter the game 7 last Thursday? What kind of fans celebrate by destroying their own city? According to The Associated Press, thirty eight people were arrested for “public intoxication, vandalism or inciting a riot.” Probably doesn’t help to have criminals on the team. Rob Artest seems to have escaped that dog abuse charge easily. In any case, the pro basketball is starting to seem kinda fixed. LA always seem to get more than their share. Just look at years past. Wonder if it’s because of Vegas.
