Venezuelan power-puncher Edwin Valero, otherwise known as the Japanese-killer (hehe), moves his way up into the boxing limelight with a chance to get the vacant WBC lightweight title when he trades bombs in the ring with 39 year-old Colombian Antonio Pitalua, in an attempt to get a shot at Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao, whom Valero has been chasing in their Super Featherweight days.

I’ve been a fan of Edwin Valero after watching all of his video highlights on Youtube, and perhaps all of those video influenced me into thinking that he indeed is a great figter and deserves a crack at Pacquiao. But after listening to boxing analysts lately, I realized that Valero perhaps never faced top competition, laying waste his opponents in Japan. I’m still a fan though, but I’m predicting that the veteran Pitalua will be able to handle him and hand him his first loss.

If you are looking for ways on how to watch Valero vs Pitalua free, you better be outside the US because it can only be shown there live on PPV. Some fre video streams can be found on the Internet but they rarely work and are always buffering. The god quality ones often get taken down due to copyright issues, and you can pretty much expect this over at justin.tv. Sopcast servers might work though.
