Jermain Taylor, winner of many championship bouts and at one time have had the unified Middleweight Belt until Kelly Pavlik took it from him, will duel with Jeff Lacy Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the campus arena at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. This fight will be an elimination bout for the WBC Super Middleweight Title contention, with the winner having the right to challenge the current champion. The battle will be broadcasted live on HBO and many streaming videos, possibly even from Yahoo Sports.

Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor is expected to win this said fight, according to boxing analysts and even odds-makers. He has both the power and the technical skills to put Jeff Lacy out, while Lacy have had some trouble in his last three bouts especially after losing to Joe Calzaghe. Many analysts now think Lacy is a shell of his former self, having been taken out of the game mentally by his lopsided loss against Joe Calzaghe.
