Two Mexican warriors go up on the ring against each other for the vacant WBA Lightweight belt and the Ring Magazine Lightweight Title as “Dinamita” Juan Manuel Marquez counter-punches Juan “The Baby Bull” Diaz this Saturday, February 28, 2008 at the Toyota Center, Houston, Texas. The fight is broadcasted live by HBO.

Much praise is thrown towards Juan Manuel Marquez (JMM) because of the way he almost won against Pacquiao last year, and also the way he knocked out previously un-KO’ed Joel Casamayor of Cuba. The same can be said for Juan Diaz, who when I was watching some months ago seemed immovable, keeps coming forward, and has those stingy hooks that can render an opponent bloodied and unconscious.

The Saturday show (which would certainly be broadcasted on the Internet by some people on live streaming video) will also feature undefeated Chris John vs Rocky Juarez with the WBA Featherweight Belt on the line.

As you can see, The Baby Bull Diaz actually comes up on the ring bigger than his opponents, and he would certainly be bigger than JMM on Saturday. This is the main reason why my winner prediction goes out to Diaz, who would dominate the fight against Marquez all throughout.
