Finally, the Philippines get its first win in Beijing on Wushu, a special demonstration game. Unfortunately for us, Wushu as a demo game is not included in the official sports counting for the Medal Tally/Count. Willy Wang bested 10 other athletes in the no-weapon category, and 2 other Filipino got bronzes in their respective Wushu games.

Demonstration games are usually employed by the IOC before they determine a sport to be any Olympic game. As a trivia, Taekwondo was a demonstration game in Seoul 1988 before it was deemed applicable for Olympic stature in Barcelona 1992. With the Philippine showing on wushu, we can only hope that the sport becomes a mainstream game come London 2012. Our first Olympic Gold ever stands waiting for our wushu athletes.

Honest points addressed here. I am grateful to you for that, nevertheless you deserve more thanks than that. I have color blindness. I principally use Firefox browser and regard a number of web sites are hard to perceive thanks to a sloppy range of colors used. However, here, as the range of colors is great, the design is extremely tidy and pleasurable to comprehend. I don’t know whether it was a premeditated and intended attempting, or just the ‘luck of the draw’, but I still thank you.
