Fight Synopsis:
In was just one of the undercard fights of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) bantamweight champion Gerry “Fearless” Penalosa’s boxing title bout entitled “Invasion: Philippines vs The World”. The latter was up against ex-world champion Ratanachai Sor Vorapin of Thailand in Araneta Coliseum, but WBO Intercontinental superbantam champ Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista made sure the fight was worth watching for. In a 122 lbs weight, he successfully defended his title against Mexican challenger Genaro Camargo.
Watch here the video of the full fight that had the Filipino boxer proving to be too much for the Mexican. His boxing expertise and discipline has definitely improved as depicted in this fight. Bautista had really learned his lesson well. In this very fight, he knocked down Camargo instantly during the second round of the fight. Bautista after this match, stressed his desire to shoot for a possible rematch with Daniel Ponce De Leon who stopped him in the first round at the World Cup last year.

Fight Synopsis:
This was a good comeback fight for Boom Bautista after his humiliating loss to Daniel Ponce De Leon. It was the make or break moment of his boxing career. Fortunately, he won this fight against Antonio “Barrio” Meza of Mexico in the well-attended ‘Payback’ event at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The fight held on December 02, 2007 had Bautista victorious via a 12 round unanimous decision.
In a video of the round by round fight, watch as the duo let the viewers witnessed a torrid toe-to-toe exchanges. This was the scene throughout the fight with Bautista getting the better of most of the boxing clash. Even if Meza had more punches, watch how Bautista was given credit for accuracy. In the videos here, both fighters were hit by hard punches from each other but still neither one of them agreed to go down and give-up the fight.
The scores were 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112, all for Bautista who now improved to 24-1-0 (17 KOs). Meza dropped to 23-3-0 (16 KOs).

This match was very unlucky one for Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista as it tarnished his 23 -0 -with 17 KOs record when he was knocked down immediately at the first round by Daniel Ponce De Leon.Watch this boxing duel here was held at Arco Arena, Sacramento, California, United States. Reynaldo “Boom Boom” Bautista emerged victorious in his bout against Argentina’s Sergio Manuel Medina via a 12-round unanimous decision. This showdown of unbeaten super bantamweights took place on the 5th of April, 2007. Bautista was among five unbeaten fighters from outside North America fighting on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather-Oscar de la Hoya super-welterweight showdown held at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
With this victory, Bautista improved to 29-0. Medina fell to 22-1. Watch here the video where in the full fight, the Filipino boxer suffered a one-point deduction in this boxing clash. The video shows how he got deducted for low blows in the fifth round only to bounce back by knocking down Medina late in the sixth round. Medina replied with a furious flurry in the seventh round, hammering the Filipino fighter against the ropes twice. That was before Bautista clinched twice and reached the end of the round. He had Medina down in the canvas with a right blow to the jaw of the Argentine, who staggered and fell midway of the 11th round. Medina refused to be knocked out but never recovered. The judges awarded him the victory by scores of 115-109, 115-109 and 116-108.

Undefeated Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista won this fight against Brazilian Giovanni Andrade in a TKO fashion. This fight was held at the St.Pete Times Forum, Tampa, Florida, United States. The boxing clash took place on December 02,2006. Watch in the video here how Bautista took out 61 fight veteran and former world title challenger Giovanni Andrade in just four rounds.
Rey who turned pro a week before his 17th birthday had marked himself in the boxing scene when he quickly began piling up the wins and knockouts. When you watch the full fight in the video below you’d see how Andrade started the round with showboating. He was cautioned by the referee for taunting Bautista. Good thing, Bautista kept his cool. The second round was Andrade’s when he made the Filipino boxer find himself in the ropes with a flurry of punches. Boom-Boom backfired him with a solid left hook. He did not stop nailing the Brazilian unleashing a fierce three punch combination with left hooks on his face and body.
Another perfect left hook and powerful combination saw the end of the round and the fight as well. The fight was stopped before the start of the fourth round. Andrade reportedly refused to come out for the round complaining that he couldn’t breathe as a result of the punches he got in the third round.
