Manny Pacquiao successfully defended his title from Tetsutora Senrima and proceeded to do the same to Wethya Sakmuangklang. It was held at
Kidapawan City, Cotabato, Philippines. This April 28-2001 saw Manny starting his fight plan in the ring like a snorting bull. This is unusual for Pacquiao that usually sparked up at the first round. The clash is actually a showdown of two experts in right hand counter-attacking stance.
The Filipino tried to keep his focus by taking the game in its own natural pace. Round 2 unleashed the raging tiger in Manny when Sakmuangklang unloaded a powerful left hook. He eventually lessened his cool and cornered his opponent. His attack was momentarily though. Pacman did not want to smell blood early on the game. He let that happened at the later part of the fight. A moment or two in the ropes with inability to match Pacquiao’s explosive blows had Sakmuangklang quit at the sixth round by a TKO.Posted May 14th, 2008 by boxingvid | 557 views 618 Comments »
