After his first 126 pounds bout became a success, Manny Pacquiao again made his country proud when he defended his 122 pounds IBF super bantamweight title at the Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, United States on July 26, 2003. From switching punches to an aging boxer, this time an amateur boxing neophyte, Emmanuel Lucero fought with Pacman for the belt. What’s unique about this boxing newbie is his overacting crouch. He goes down almost at the level of the belt.
This style however brought him his own end. Manny’s eye immediately caught this weakness. He immediately fired explosive shots to his opponent’s body. Lucero was left off-guard, leading to his downfall in the 3rd round. Pacquiao had laready mastered his rival’s moves so he proceeded to unload his big punch using his left fist. The blow caught Lucero’s jaw and with that one punch, he went daed in the ring. This prompted Referee Jose Cobian, to end the fight. This is Manny Pacquiao’s last fight at 122 pounds.Posted May 15th, 2008 by boxingvid | 798 views 1,734 Comments »
