May 8, 2004′s clash of Manny Pacquiao versus Juan Manuel Marquez was the first of their boxing trilogy. In their debut duel, Pacquiao took the big lead when knocked down Marquez three times in the first round. Marquez recovered though and managed to fight back within the succeeding rounds. His durabillity lasted till the 12th round.
