Forrest Griffin, winner of the last Light Heavyweight championship against Quinton Jackson, will battle it out in the octagon with another accomplished undefeated fighter in Rashad Evans, who knocked out the famous Chuck Lidell in their last bout, for Griffin’s 205 lbs Light Heavyweight UFC championship belt. This is one of the biggest fights of a very successful year for the Ultimate Fighting Championship franchise, and will be held at MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday night, December 27, 2008, and will be broadcasted live on Pay-Per-View. The weigh-ins already took place, and you can watch the weigh-in video of all fighters here.

The betting odds favor Forrest Griffin a little bit, mostly because he is more popular. But if you have seen Evan’s KO of Chuck above, you might want to think twice about betting against Rashad.
